On this day way back in 2007 The Magical Blue Circle was born, in Palo Alto, California, US.
This was the date that location services really upped its game.
So 10 years ago, the magical blue circle did not exist. Can you imagine not having Google Maps to try and figure out where you are? You probably haven't thought about it.
But when Google Maps introduced the My Location technology, the users were very excited, as you can imagine.
However, 10 years on, this magical blue circle has been taken for granted. When was the last time you actually thought about how amazing this technology is? How much has developed since because of the magical blue circle? When was the last time you used the magical blue circle and expected it to get you from A to B?
Well because we feel the magical blue circle has literally been left feeling sad and blue, we wanted to celebrate it's 10th birthday.
